Scuba diving lessons essentially hinge on 5 basic skills or theories, When you take scuba diving lessons, these are the first skills you will learn and the same skills you will use in every dive after that for the rest of your life.

Mask Clear : How to Clear a Dive Mask Under Water

3rd Important Skill

When you are on a dive and your mask mists up you dont want to go to the surface to clear it.

First you need to take a deep breath and tilt your head down.
Hold the top of the mask so that the air cant escape out the top of the mask.
Breath out through your nose and while tilting your head back so that the air goes into the mask and forces the water out the bottom of the mask.
Thats how you clear a dive mask under water.

How to clear a diving regulator underwater

4th Important Skill

Clearing a diving regulator underwater is straight forward

1. Take a deep breath
2. take the regulator out your mouth
3. Blow a stream a bubbles while the regulator is out of your mouth
4. Hold the regulator facing down
5. Put the regulator back in your mouth
6. Blow into the regulator to clear it
7. Or push the purge button on the front of the regulator
8. Take a careful breath and continue your dive

Buoyancy Scuba Diving : How not to sink in the Ocean

Buoyancy Control is THE MOST IMPORTANT Part of Scuba Diving, any mismanagement will result in Lung Collapse or Even Loss of Life.

Its simple. You need to control your buoyancy with your BCD.
Inflate your BCD a little at a time. As you breath in you should ascend and as you breath out you should descend.
